Capturing a Child's Likeness

Would you be prepared to do a portrait commission of a child tomorrow? Don't worry, many artists have limited experience depicting children, which is why Liz Harris is hoping to fill that gap. She'll guide you through a portrait step by step, highlighting many of the surprises that beginner artists aren't accustomed to, such as the softer values in the face, the changed proportions in the eyes and nose, as well as the more narrow value spread.
