Hein Atelier + Sentient

Updated: Apr 7

Although modern day technology has advanced in such a way that most creative individuals have incorporated mobile devices or apps into their journey, the good-old traditional training process still has a solid foothold in the world of art education. Even with technological advancements, there is no short cut to mastery. Odoardo Fialetti once provided a visual of the inside of his teacher, Renaissance master Tintoretto's studio. The engraving he made depicts a school, bustling with the creation of art, with students and helpers of all ages. The master and students work together as a team, while advanced students assist the novices. Certainly the merit of such a training environment is clear as studios such as these produced the most masterful artists for centuries.

Professional artist Jeff Hein founded his Hein Atelier of Traditional Art and adopted the same multidimensional art training process to teach aspiring young artists. In Jeff Hein's Atelier he teaches more than solid fundamental art skills. He also imparts all of the business skills he himself has learned and used, as well as soft skills, to his students.

With the shared vision of developing fine artists with the skills, confidence and knowledge to succeed, Jeff Hein and Sentient Academy are now proud partners. We are committed in helping one another meld the irreplaceable value of traditional schools with cutting-edge technology to train more students. For the first time ever, students are able to focus on learning their art rather than worry how to relocate to a metro area to receive training.

Sentient's new program will introduce students to Jeff's Art Renewal Center accredited curriculum through a series of blended learning, self-study studio hours, as well as personalized attention and small class sizes. Students will receive lectures, demonstrations, personalized critiques, Q&A discussions with Jeff via live streaming, and the ability to access and review a growing library of past lectures through Sentient Academy. In this environment, students will bond with and motivate one another as they learn core skills, develop their portfolio and build work ethic. Students who wish to produce top quality work, and kick start their professional art career without the hassle of in-person learning, will definitely find this program a good fit!

Imagine if you could re-watch the instruction given to you by your art teacher again and again? As you grow more skilled as an artist, the earlier lectures provided to you by your master instructor have deeper meaning, and provide more opportunities for your growth. This is the opportunity created with Jeff Hein and Sentient Academy.

With this program, you will develop a professional level of drawing and painting skills, a consistent body of work and the business knowledge necessary to take you one step ahead of your peers.
